1. Define your events purpose and scope: Start by clearly defining the purpose and scope of your event. Is it a personal celebration, a professional networking event, or a corporate function? Determine the desired atmosphere and the goals you want to achieve. Having a clear understanding of your events objectives will help you identify the key individuals who will be present, ensuring that your guest list aligns with the purpose of the event.

For a weddin, immediate family and close friends might be top priority, followed by extended family, colleagues, and acquaintances.
